Now you know I have a huge obsession with burnt orange, Spanish tile, and all things modern minimalism, right?! Yeah, Zach and Dena decided to put all my favorite things in their wedding.
About the Couple
I actually met Zach and Dena last year when I shot Zach’s bother’s wedding in Malibu! (Go stalk El + Chap’s intimate Malibu wedding here). We instantly connected and everyone immediately felt like family. Z + D met taking a couple summer courses and Dena thought it’d be a good idea to exchange numbers in case one of them missed class (smooth move Dena, I see you). They started talking and have been inseparable ever since.
Wedding Feels
Zach and Dena wanted their wedding to feel like the perfect California of their two worlds – where their Jewish culture collided with their love of California’s laid back Spanish inspired style. Quail Ranch was the perfect venue to cater to their laid back but polished style. From his cufflinks to her bouquet – I love when couples reveal their personalities in ‘little’ details like these! Dena even hand made all their invitations and her dress!!! (I have the raddest brides). Vibrant florals and lush greenery framed the entire evening while friends and family indulged in food, laughter and memories. It’s a whole mood and I’m here for it.
